Interestingly, Jack came to CP+R in excellent health and an already good awareness of how to take care of his health. Jack was interested in our expert guidance and a collaborative approach to structuring his overall lifestyle going forward.
Our action plan
In order for us to work effectively with Jack it was important we took the time to understand and crystalise his goals and health beliefs. This required a holistic approach that was not simply focussed on moving numbers on a scale but instead focussed on how Jack felt and how this translated to performance in different aspects of his life.
Jack’s plan centred on pilates-style exercise incorporating mindfulness and breathing techniques to reduce stress, increase energy levels, improve flexibility and balance. This was combined with traditional resistance exercise to provide a strong muscular foundation on which to explore flexibility and more advance pilates techniques.
Jack’s results
Jack has been able to successfully maintain an excellent state of health and consistent lifestyle structure despite a busy work and family life. This has also culminated in increase skills and knowledge of pilates, yoga and meditative style exercises.
