Sunil is a busy CEO and businessmen. He suffered a bout of angina and subsequently underwent a PCI and stenting. This was the catalyst to transforming his health, particularly as he’d lost his brother very suddenly to a heart attack the previous year.
Our action plan
Nothing great was every achieved without enthusiasm and Sunil had just that approach, committing to training with us 4 times a week. His comprehensive initial assessment highlighted key cardiovascular risk factors that we needed to address. As Sunil hadn’t exercised for a number of years, our focus was on the world class basics of time-under-tension resistance training and aerobic base-building CV training. Alongside this, we incorporated sustainable changes in nutrition, with a focus on tactics and choices he can adhere to for years to come.
Sunil’s results
Sunil has achieved amazing results! He has lost 10kg in the first 15 weeks, which is 11% of his total body mass. He has reduced his cholesterol by 38%. Sunil’s cardiovascular fitness has also hugely improved with his heart rate an impressive 20 beats lower during exercise.
Having lost my elder brother to a heart attack last August, I too was diagnosed with angina. I underwent a successful stent procedure and was referred to CP+R for rehabilitation. I felt very dubious at first as I have had personal trainers in the past but soon lost interest and motivation.
CP+R introduced me to the Four Pillars and from then on I was determined to improve my health and well-being, as well as my diabetes and blood pressure.
I was introduced to Matt and with his professional guidance and dedication, I started the programme attending 4 times a week. Along with exercise homework and keeping a food diary I have so far lost 10kg. My health has greatly improved and my motivation to continue has been restored.
